Habitec Security Hosts School Safety Seminar
November 2006
The issue of school safety has been on the rise in this country for several years. To educate area schools on the importance of security, Habitec hosted their first annual School Safety Seminar in November 2006.
The seminar featured guest speaker Mike Masterson, the Chief of Police for Perkins Township an expert on school security, who discussed several school safety issues. Habitec representatives then informed the invited guests of the new technologies that were available and how they are used in school safety.
The overwhelming response from the area communities required Habitec to host an additional seminar the following month. We hope you plan on joining us at our next seminar to better understand your schools security needs. Please contact Habitec for the date of our next School Safety Seminar.
About Habitec Security
Today, it is one of the nation’s largest residential and commercial security companies. In Toledo, Habitec has the only locally owned and operated UL listed and FM approved command center. By operating our own command center we dictate the level of training and service our technicians and operators must maintain. The best detection devices in the world are of little use if the monitoring equipment and personnel aren’t maintained by quality people.
Habitec Security prides itself in the premier service that they offer to their clients. Habitec’s business philosophy and professional approach to the security industry resulted in the remarkable customer retention of 95% over a ten year period, mainly because of customers moving. This is one of the reasons that Habitec has recently opened full service branches in the Columbus and Northern Michigan markets.
